NEW ZEALAND IN THE SPRING, NOV. REPORT

- AL BOWEN

Don:

All went smoothly, much thanks to you. The days off were well timed. The places you selected were good locations and all. The guides and fishing destinations were on the money and gave me a wanted perspective on things on the South Island.

The weather was somewhat adverse with high clearing water and wind. This did not result in any bad days without nice fish however. The best day was the last at "The Lodge", with six for seven in the net.  Two were weighed at over five pounds and the rest were over four. A good angler would probably have had a dozen. Richard was the best of my guides.

You do a most excellent job mate!

My new camera captured a very nice photo or two which may need to be made way for on my already fishy walls. I will have some put on my disk. I may forward them if you can stand seeing yet another slimy nude.

Good on ya, Don.

Alfonso Bowen
