CORPORATE GATHERING ITINERARY IDEAS
After everyone is checked in:
Welcome and purpose of the gathering at this
particular lodge.
Everyone introduce themselves and mention their fly
fishing experience (or lack of). Keep it light and
create a fun atmosphere.
Introduction to Fly Fishing:
a. Instruction from the
guides
b. Casting lessons
c. Time on the water (if
arrival day allows time and its not too late)
After dinner – explain what will happen tomorrow and
the subsequent days. Also, if the budget allows,
you may have some fun by introducing the many prizes
and awards that are going to be available over the
next few days. Awards can be made for
accomplishments such as:
First fish caught on a fly (for those who’ve never
fly fished)
Biggest fish caught each day
Smallest fish caught each day
Most fish caught each day (define “caught”)
Etc, etc – we could think of many reasons to give
away awards, all with the idea of creating a fun and
spirited atmosphere. You could also think of ways
to work in certain business related recognition.
Each morning - the day begins with instruction or
casting lessons. However, this is meant to be a
short session as the bulk of the instruction will be
on the water while fishing.
Each night after dinner - have an awards ceremony –
this can be as extensive as you want to make it.
