Crocodile and Butterfly Exhibit
- Take a leisurely half hour to
experience the beauties and the beasts of Costa
Rica. We will walk you through the two extremes of
local wildlife both present on the property, the
relaxing butterfly garden and the vicious reality of
the crocodile swamp. (Free to Hotel guests, $10 for

Botanical Garden Tours - The botanist's utopia. Take a boat
ride across the Gulf for a beach landing at The
House of Orchids. Knowledgeable and enthusiastic
plant experts run this botanical garden. They're
sure to give you a renewed respect for the diversity
of flora of the rainforest. ($50 1/2 day, closed on
Fridays [1 ])
Rainforest Tours - Come and see first hand the
exquisite beauty of the rainforests of Costa Rica.
The tremendous size of the primary rainforest that
grows right up to the waters edge will leave even
the most avid outdoorsman breathless ($65 ½ day, $85

Beach Exploration
- Come and relax on a beautiful
tropical beach in paradise. Excellent for children
and swimming, this beach is for those who want to
take some time to unwind ($25 ½ day, $40 full day

Horseback Riding
- Tour the rainforest and the beach
without the necessity of roads. Explore the
rainforest all the way to the beach, and see the
wildlife throughout. ($90 ½ day, $125 full day [3])
Bird Watching - Tour a prime destination for bird
watching called Dos Brazos. This scenic area sits
near a beautiful river and contains an extremely
wide variety of bird species ($55 ½ day, $75 full
day [1])
Bird Watching Tour Package - Due to the large demand for strictly
bird watching tours, we have created a two and a
half day birding package. In these two and a half
days, we will take time to focus on the three
separate eco systems Costa Rica has to offer and the
species that live in them. We will venture to see
the inland birds, the wetland birds of the
mangroves, and the tropical birds of the coastal
primary rainforest. ($210 per person [1])
Gold Panning - Visit the claim of a local
professional gold-panner. Learn the tricks of the
trade and see why Columbus named the country the
"Rich Coast", ($50 ½ day [1])
Surfing - See why Costa Rica is a world-renown
surfing destination. Visit the locals' favorite spot
with a guide who can help you get the most out of
your day. For experienced swimmers only. ($95 full
day - physically demanding [2])
Kayaking - Choose between mangrove and ocean
kayaking. See the area from a different point of
view with a small amount of exercise as an extra
bonus. ($50 ½ day - physically demanding [1])
Sunset Ocean Kayaking Tours
- Take a leisurely paddle at sunset.
Leave at 4:00PM and take a short trip up the
mangroves and back via the ocean where calm waters
and colorful skies await you. ($45 ½ day [1])
Waterfall Rappelling
- For the more adventurous, we offer
the opportunity to rappel down a flowing waterfall.
After a beautiful hike up a rainforest canyon, our
experienced guides will set up top quality gear and
let your adrenaline bring you to new heights of
excitement. ($95 ½ day - two person minimum -
physically demanding [2]*)
Snorkeling - Tour the Gulf for some of the most
visually stimulating seascapes available in Costa
Rica. You will explore three different areas so that
you will have the best possible chance to view a
wide variety of tropical fish. ($95 full day [2]*,

Scuba Diving - Visit Cano Island, the Pacific's
premier diving destination. You will have two
separate dives, each with its own tank so that you
can have all the time necessary to fully appreciate
